Imaginations will soar, as audiences will be invited to step into a world of colour and movement this September! Discover the Atherton Gardens Precinct in Fitzroy as it lights up and comes alive after dark Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd September.  Featuring projection artwork by local artist, Kate Geck, recognised for her outstanding kaleidoscopic projections.
The Centre for Projection Art proudly presents Gertrude Street Projection Festival MiNi. With ten successful years of presenting famed Gertrude Street Projection Festival, 2018 is a year of creative development and careful research. The MiNi Festival will continue to engage the broader community and provide emerging projection artists and local creatives with a platform to experiment and exhibit their work, whilst working with local businesses to light up an important Melbourne location.

Centre for Projection Art

The Centre for Projection Art (formerly Gertrude Projection Association)  is an independent,  not for profit, community arts organisation dedicated to exhibiting contemporary new media art. Since 2008, it has produced outdoor site-specific projection art events that exhibit professional, emerging and community artists.
TheCentre for Projection Art aims:
• to produce and exhibit media art projects;
• to encourage, develop, and mentor local and community artists;
• to present free outdoor art experiences;
• to support the culture and community services of Gertrude Street;
• to share all that with other communities.
