Introduction to Vjing and Projection Mapping using VDMX and Madmapper
In this informative tutorial, media artist Kit Webster will take you through the developmental processes of producing audio visual sculptures, and will also go over the tips and tricks he has developed to create a VJ set using VDMX.
Kit will explain how to build your own VJ rig so you too can provide live visuals for gigs and will talk you through the process of creating a projection mapping sculpture. You will learn the steps involved in designing the sculpture and how to prepare the visuals for mapping the video using Madmapper.
The installation created within the workshop will be on display later that night, as part of the Projection Festival’s Closing Night Party – Sensory Overload, at the Gertrude’s Brown Couch.
