FloodSlicer

Site Number: Site 19
Site Location: Little George St above Manfax
Artwork Title: Digital Distillation

Extending the theme of illumination both literally and figuratively, FloodSlicer shed light on this wall, ‘dissolving’ the bricks away in places to reveal a space/place beyond.

FloodSlicer is Australia’s premier 3D rendering, animation and film making company and a world leader in pre-built visualisations. Their work has always been defined by its excellence, ambience and difference. They have a history of collaboration, support and participation in the Arts Sector.

FloodSlicer have been a part of a number of architecture biennale (“Now and When”, Australian Pavilion Venice 2011, Venice Virtual Pavilion 2004 and 2006, Beijing Biennale 2010), project and grant work with local sculptors (Geoffrey Bartlett, Louise Lavarack) and regular competition work with firms such as Lyons Architecture.

They are headed by two creative directors, Daniel Flood and Samantha Slicer, both of whom have been involved with the architectural visualisation industry since its infancy.
