Celebrating the future, this year’s opening night will feature an eclectic line up of Melbourne’s freshest performers.

Headlining the evening is the exciting new solo project from local dream queen Siobhan McGinnity, Magnets. after years on the Melbourne music scene hiding behind her keys and backing-vocals, Magnets is finally stepping out on her own. Trained as a classical pianist from the age of 6, Magnets started experimenting with guitar recently for a new challenge and will be joined this evening with transfixing visuals by Freya Pitt.

Support from the danceable indie pop trio Gem Bones and synthpop friends FENTON.

Following the live acts, celebrate the launch of GSPF 2016 and dance the evening away with expert party maker Whiskey Houston and visuals from GSPF’s very own Robert Jordan aka Cat Full of GHOSTS.
